GSV Chamber Board Election

The results from the election are in! Congratulations Dylan Brewer with Paulette’s, Jessica Henroid with Mountain Harvest Community Market, and Will Rasmussen with KSRA Radio, and a huge thank you to the other candidates who participated! Click the link to our 2021 Election section of our blog for more information.

Visitors Center is Open

It’s been quite a long time, but the Visitors Center is now open to the public again! Chamber staff will be available from 10am – 3pm Wednesdays and Thursdays. Other volunteer hours are evolving, so please stay tuned. If you are interested in volunteering at the Visitors Center please let us know!

Visitor Guides

Our Spring 2021 Visitor Guides are fresh off the press! Thank you Snoack Studios and SP2M Marketing for helping us with the modifications and printing. The visitor guides have not been delivered yet. We’re hoping to receive them by next week. Please stay tuned for more information.

Our distribution this time around has changed. Our volunteers will be distributing the visitor guides to local gas stations, hotels, grocery stores, and throughout the Bitterroot Valley. We will not be delivering to Chamber members unless it’s convenient to do so.

Please understand that our time is limited and we’re doing the best that we can to get these guides into the hands of visitors. With that said, we would be happy to try and accommodate any requests, and the guides will be available 24/7 outside the Visitors Center.

Crowd-Sourced Promotional Video

The Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail Experience is hoping to collect crowd-sourced videos of Lemhi County to include on their website! The GSV Chamber and Sacajawea Interpretive, Cultural & Education Center are partnering up to create a couple videos promoting Salmon and its unique cultural heritage. If you have a video you’d like to share which also promotes the unique beauty of this area, please contact us! Outfitters, event coordinators, promoters, historians, adventure enthusiasts, or anyone who has a quality video of Lemhi County they’d like to share, let us know.

Once the crowd-sourced videos are received, the National Park Service will work with WhereNext (an award winning videography company) to edit the material into one 4-5 minute video, as well as a few short 30-second videos.  All videos must be submitted to the NPS by April 23rd, 2021.

Idaho Strong Help Line

We’d like to highlight the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare’s Idaho Strong Program. Idaho Strong is a new effort designed to help support the communities, families and individuals of Idaho. They are looking to provide business resources, emotional support, connect people to resources, and remain available during these challenging times in whatever way they can. Please note that this helpline in not just for COVID, it could be for anything that you are struggling with. Please visit the following link for more information: Idaho Strong Help Line

CDTC Trail Tourism Toolkit
