Meet the GSV Chamber Team

In 2018, a group of dedicated locals and business leaders from Lemhi County embarked on a mission to create a Chamber of Commerce built on integrity, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to the community. The result was the Greater Salmon Valley Chamber of Commerce—a fresh start, distinct from past efforts that struggled to align with these values.
Building this organization from the ground up hasn’t been easy, but the progress we’ve made speaks volumes. Today’s Chamber prioritizes transparency, accountability, and a strong connection to the community. We’re proud of the reputation we’ve built, and we owe much of our success to the unwavering support of our members and neighbors.
For those wondering who we are and what we stand for, we invite you to meet the faces behind the name. These are the individuals working hard to serve you as well as balancing their own thriving business. These volunteers behind the scenes ensure that tasks are completed, values are upheld, and the organization thrives. The Greater Salmon Valley Chamber of Commerce is more than just a name—it’s a reflection of the community we serve and the brighter future we aim to build together.
If you have any interest in becoming a member of our Board, please reach out!

Jessica Santos - President
A proud Salmon native, Jessica is deeply rooted in the community she grew up in. Growing up surrounded by the beauty and spirit of Salmon shaped her passion for giving back, and she is excited to serve on the Chamber of Commerce board to help support positive growth, strong local businesses, and meaningful community opportunities.
Jessica is a dedicated Realtor and the busy mom of three wonderful children, all of whom inspire her commitment to building a thriving and welcoming community for future generations. When she’s not working or volunteering, you’ll almost always find her soaking up the sunshine—Jessica is happiest in the summer months and loves anything that involves being on, by, or in the water.
Jessica became a board member in 2024 and was voted in as president in April 2026.

Courtnee Bowen - Vice President
As a true Salmon local, Courtnee Bowen is deeply committed to the growth and success of the community she calls home. After attending massage therapy school in Coeur d’Alene, she returned to Salmon in 2016, where she and her husband, Kyler, now raise their four sons and stay actively involved in local service.
Courtnee owns and operates Leopard Latte and recently joined CusterTel in sales and marketing. Her experience as both a small business owner and a corporate professional gives her valuable insight into the needs and opportunities within Salmon’s business community.
The Bowen family is heavily involved in local first‑responder organizations, including Search & Rescue, EMS, and local fire departments. When they’re not volunteering, they’re on the sports fields coaching and supporting youth athletics. They also recently took over the Salmon Valley Speedway, helping keep dirt‑track racing alive in the valley.
Since joining the Chamber in 2025, Courtnee has focused on finding meaningful ways to “pour back” into Salmon. She is dedicated to supporting fellow small business owners and helping ensure the community remains vibrant, welcoming, and full of opportunity.
Courtnee joined our board in late 2025 and was voted in as Vice President in April 2026.

Nicole Perry - Secretary
Nicole Perry is an Escrow Officer with Alliance Title & Escrow, specializing in guiding clients through real estate transactions with clear communication and attention to detail. A Salmon-area resident for nearly 10 years, she values the relationships and sense of community that make the town so special. As Secretary of the Chamber, Nicole is committed to serving in a hands-on way, building strong local connections, and supporting business growth. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family—whether on the water paddleboarding or fishing, exploring the mountains in search of antlers or game, or taking road trips to discover new places. Nicole is proud to serve as Secretary and is committed to contributing to a strong, connected, and thriving local business community. Nicole started on the board in early 2026 and was elected Secretary in April 2026.

Jim Minor-Treasurer
Jim was born in western Pennsylvania and spent 25 years in the Raleigh, North Carolina area after graduating from college. In April 2022, he and his wife, Kristin, made the move to Salmon, bringing along their two kids, JD and Kaitlyn.
JD now works locally for a concrete company, while Kaitlyn lives in Tooele, Utah, where she works for a Calvary Chapel.
He enjoys making the most of this beautiful part of the country — hiking, floating the river, skiing, fishing, and hunting. His hobby‑ranching habit keeps him busy, though it sometimes cuts into those outdoor adventures.
Jim joined our board in 2025 and was quickly voted in as treasurer.

Tessa Sever- Executive Director
Tessa Sever joined the Greater Salmon Valley Chamber of Commerce as Executive Director in February 2025. Growing up along the Salmon River, right here in Salmon, Idaho, Tessa developed a deep connection to the outdoors that shaped her life and career. As a teenager, she spent her summers learning the ropes as a river guide, an experience that laid the foundation for her professional path.
Tessa earned her degrees in Geology and Outdoor Education & Leadership from Westminster College in Utah. Her career has been as diverse as the landscapes she loves—from managing season pass sales at Alta Ski Area in Utah to teaching Algebra and Outdoor Skills at the Alzar School in Idaho and Southern Chile.
Her journey eventually brought her back to Salmon, with a few stops along the way. Tessa launched the Beaverhead Gear Exchange to complement her work guiding on the Forks of the Salmon River for Wilderness River Outfitters and the Rogue River for Helfrich Rogue River. Tessa also spends her winters working for Lost Trail Ski Patrol. These experiences honed her management and communication skills, making her a natural fit for her current role.
Now living in Salmon year-round, Tessa serves on the board of the Salmon Whitewater Park Association while leading the Chamber of Commerce with enthusiasm and vision. She is passionate about fostering community growth and is excited to serve the people and businesses of Salmon Valley.
Stop in at the Beaverhead Gear Exchange and our Visitor Information Desk at 401 Main Street to say hi!
