Chamber Candidates

Abi Beer - Last Wave/Riverside Station

What are you most excited about working on with the Chamber?

“I’m excited to join the Chamber for many reasons. The most important one though, is I moved to Salmon to help this community thrive. I think by increasing membership, hosting more events for the community to increase the awareness and the engagement will really let people know that this town should be on the map for a multitude of reasons, not just whitewater and hunting. The food, the shopping, the recreation, etc.”

Jo Christiansen - Stone Tablet Bookkeeping

What are you most excited about working on with the Chamber?

Besides promoting Salmon, I would work towards generating more notice/participation from local small businesses that work from home or have a home based business. There are a lot of these now and more cropping up every day. I would work to get them excited about being a part of the Chamber, promoting them in Chamber activities, and making the town aware of another venue to hit up for sponsorship, etc.”

Audrea Ellis - Alliance Title & Escrow, LLC

What are you most excited about working on with the Chamber?

“I have recently moved here, and I’ve met many citizens of our town that have lived here for most (if not all) of their lives. I have also met newcomers like myself, and it seems we are all here because we love Salmon. I hope I will be voted in by the general membership, and look forward to being a part of the Chamber Committee.”

Amber Larna - Idaho Power Company

What are you most excited about working on with the Chamber?

“I am most excited about the opportunity to immerse myself in the community. With the recent influx of people moving to Lemhi County, I hope to contribute to the growth while also preserving the culture which everyone is so proud of. I’m currently involved in other Chamber organizations and am excited to exchange the ideas between them. I hope to encourage new business contacts, increase visibility in the community and create networking opportunities.”

Jo Schroeder - Gem Air

What are you most excited about working on with the Chamber?

“I’m most interested in supporting businesses as they work to improve themselves, and particularly interested in figuring out ways to create some synergy between businesses working together. I think we can do a lot more together than as individual entities!”

Dennis Wood AKA "Woody" - KSRA Radio

What are you most excited about working on with the Chamber?

“I look forward to making an impact in our small, progressive community.”
