SRD's Business Passport Competition
Remember our Holiday Business Passport Competition from last winter? Well, it’s back with a new look and new focus! This next round of passports will be ready just in time for Salmon River Days, and will revolve heavily around social media.
Rather than gathering signatures on a printed passport as entries, you’ll be encouraged to take pictures at or with member businesses and tagging their business along with the GSV Chamber on social media. The more Chamber member businesses you tag, the higher chance you’ll have of winning some epic prizes!
Information & Instructions
Passports: Consider your social media presence as your passport.
How to get Passport Entries:
- Like GSV Chamber on FB and follow on Instagram
- Take a photo while supporting a member business (i.e. receiving a service, shopping, visiting their location, etc.)
- Post photo on FB or Instagram, tagging the business (if on SM) and @salmonvalleychamber
- Use the hashtag #GSVPassport!
Requirements for Passport Entries:
- Purchase of goods or services (recommended $10 minimum) or;
- Learning about service or product value, or;
- Donation (if organization is non-profit)
Timeline: Salmon River Days weekend will kick off the passport competition! You’ll have until July 31st, 2021 to collect entries.
First Tier Drawing: 3 winners each get $25 to use at any Chamber business
Second Tier Drawing: 3 winners each get $50 to use at any Chamber business
Third Tier Drawing: 3 winners each get $75 to use at any Chamber business
To be entered in the first tier drawing: You need to visit & tag a minimum of 6 member businesses on social media
To be entered in the second tier drawing: You need to visit & tag a minimum of 12 member businesses on social media
To be entered in the third tier drawing: You need to visit & tag a minimum of 17 member businesses on social media

**Prizes will be given as gift certificates, not cash**
